Having opened in Dalston in 2019, Hacha became a pilgrimage for lovers of agave spirits and Mexican food and drink culture.

Our neighbourhood bar went on to be name UK Specialist Bar of the Year 2022 & 2023, ranked as one of the 100 Most Influential Bars in the World in the Top 500 Bar Awards 2023 & 2024, feature on the World's 50 Best Discovery List and the UK Top 50 Bars list. We went on to open more much-loved venues in Brixton and Bermondsey and host regular bars at festivals and events across the UK.

A celebration of Tequila & Mezcal, London’s first Agaveria and home of the iconic Mirror Margarita, Hacha has now closed it's doors after seven wonderful years at the forefront of the UK agave scene. However, our passion, experience and creativity in the world of agave spirits now lives in through our next project: Studio Hacha.

After seven wonderful years we closed our doors for the last time on April 25th 2026. It’s the end of an era for our little neighbourhood bar, a space that has meant so much to us and to so many of you, but it's not the end of the Hacha! We have a host of residencies and events coming up, sign up to our newsletter to stay in the loop. Our signature Mirror Margarita can also be delivered straight to your door so no need to go without.
